During the week of the race, thousands of fans pour into the city looking to explore and get amped up for their favorite team, a perfect time for a location-based AR scavenger hunt! Travel to key sites around the city and collect digital wearables, take a photo and share for a chance to win big. When you're done, follow the map to the Fan Zone for some free swag! We built this scavenger hunt in Unity using Niantic Lightship, the same technology that powers Pokemon Go. It plugs into our GameHub, our Unity to React Native pipeline that allows clients to offer a customized version of the experience in their own branded fan engagement mobile app.
